Organic Skin Care Rooted in Nature

Our ethos is to provide wonderful organic beauty face creams, spritzes and serum products which use the very best that nature supplies in a sustainable way.

We will continue to source our raw organic materials from suppliers who reflect our standards. Our products contain no petrochemicals, parabens, SLS or other harmful substances. We use only high quality pure essential oils in our manufacture-no lab produced ‘parfum’. Our organic face creams spritzes and serums come in cobalt blue glass packaging to protects the nutrient and active content of our face creams, while being easy to recycle/reuse.

Our intention is to refine and perfect our sourcing of raw organic materials for our face creams, spritzes and serum as we grow.

Our Story

Our ‘Bridget’ is an aromatherapist of many years of experience as a practitioner and lecturer. She has a deep respect for essential oils as natural aids to health and beauty. Designing the skincare products for Bridget’s Mantle has been a labour of love.  Another family member is a Ph.D. organic chemist with a background in the cosmetics industry and is a technical advisor on the formulation.

We also have an ‘in house’ business manager, and the confluence of our skills leads us to believe that we can fulfill Bridget’s dream of providing handmade pure organic and sustainable Irish skincare, using products that are deeply moisturising, and have been used from time immemorial to balance and heal the skin.

Bridget is the Major Goddess in Celtic Tradition

In Spring, the greening of the earth is mythologized as Bridget wrapping her mantle or cloak around the world. At this time, she shows two of her three faces – the cailin or young woman, and the cailleach or wise older woman. As women of all ages come more to acceptance and cherishing themselves, we were inspired to reflect that growing confidence by providing ‘divine’ face creams to nurture both the inner and outer goddess in all of us!
